Ideas Hero Ideas (Bounty, PL, Zeus, Riki, Kunkka, Lycan)

    My few (crazy) ideas for new heroes. Numbers were made up so that it looks good on paper but is stupidly broken in game.

    ## Bounty Hunter ##
    - Q: Track
    * Increases ally move speed by 20% near tracked unit and grants True Sight
    * Radius 500, cast range 1000
    * Duration 7 seconds, cooldown ~25 seconds
    - E: (Stealth) Sprint

    ## Phantom Lancer ##
    - Q: Doppelganger
    * Creates a copy of Phantom Lancer which mirrors his actions and movement in x-axis
    * Copy has phased movement
    * Copy can't touch the ball, but if the hero holds the ball it will also be copied
    * Duration 3 seconds, cooldown ~30 seconds
    - E: Normal sprint

    ## Zeus ##
    - Q: Static Field
    * All enemies in 600 radius have their movespeed and turn rate reduced by 80% for 0.5 seconds
    * Grants True Sight in the area for 0.5 seconds
    * Zeus gains Overload stack for each enemy hero affected
    * Stack duration 10 seconds
    * Cooldown 6 seconds
    - E: Greased Lightning
    * Replaces sprint
    * On activation Zeus gains +15% move speed bonus for every Overload stack for 2 seconds
    * Cooldown 6 seconds
    - R: Thundergod's Wrath
    * Strikes all enemy heroes with Static Fields effects globally
    * Zeus gains Overload stack for every enemy hero affected
    * Cooldown ~40 seconds

    ## Rikimaru ##
    - Q: Smoke Screen
    * Reverses all directions in 300 radius (ie. kicks, abilities, move commands)
    * Affects both allies and enemies, but not Riki himself or enemy goalkeeper
    * Duration 4 seconds, cooldown ~30 seconds
    - E: Permanent Invisibility (passive)
    * Replaces Sprint
    * Riki is permanently invisible while he doesn't have the ball or is inside his own Smoke Screen
    * Fade time 4 seconds, instant inside Smoke Screen

    ## Kunkka ##
    - Q: X Marks the Spot
    * Duration 4 seconds, cast range 400, cooldown whatever Weaver has + 4 seconds
    - E: Normal Sprint
    - R: Rum
    * Removes ball penalty for 4 seconds
    * After duration reduces move speed and turn rate by 20% for 4 seconds
    * Cooldown ~20 seconds

    ## Lycan ##
    - Q: Doge Squad 11: Fetch
    * Lycan summons a doge to fetch the ball
    * Doge move speed 522, radius 1000
    * Cooldown ~15 seconds, shares cooldown with "Kill Command"
    - E: Normal Sprint
    - R: Doge Squad 11: Kill Command
    * Lycan summons two doges which attack the two closest enemy heroes and slow their movement by 30% for 4 seconds, radius 1000
    * Doge is summoned next to Lycan and it move towards the target at speed of 522 slow is calculated from the moment they hit the target
    * If there's only one enemy in radius both doges will attack it and their slows stack
    *Cooldown 35 seconds, shares cooldown with "Fetch"

    ## Crystal Maiden ##

    Q: Place Ice rink: Place an ice rink which removes friction, Allows heroes to move across it at 522 ms but cannot change direction of motion while on top of the ice rink. However can change the direction the player is facing. Cannot be placed inside gk area.
    Duration: 5s
    Radius: 400
    Cast Range: 1200
    Cooldown: 24s

    R: Place sentry ward: Places ward to reveal invis heroes,
    Duration: 3s
    Cooldown: 50s

    I was just thinking the game doesn't have enough bugs as it is.. (jkjk)
    I was planning on posting bounty and pl only, but then the mad scientist within me started to awaken.

    Summarizes his impact nicely.

    Might just be me, but I feel micro abilities (summons/mirrors) and modifying default skills (kick & sprint) are the primary things that should be avoided in keeping the competitive spirit of the game. If you have to change the vanilla model of the striker to make it into a viable hero then you're going about it the wrong way. Every suggestion listed breaks these guidelines.

    Aside from that; I personally think we already have way too many heroes. Roles haven't been defined and there's a lot of game-play issues to iron out before heroes can really be balanced.
    Currently it's difficult to judge how any given hero can preform beyond a vacuum. And right now a majority of them are not even worth picking.
