Strategy

Offensive GK
Blood seeker's Tackle is slower than Invoker's Power Dash however, it's long range allows the goalie to play away from the goal, and put pressure on the enemy attackers. If the enemy manages to find an opening and shoots, their shot can be easily intercepted by the use of Tackle if it was a shot from long range. The proper use of this strategy is quite high leveled and a decent amount of skill is required to pull it off without errors.

History

The Bloodseeker is inspired in both skill-set and aesthetics by the shaman hero in Warcraft 3's Banjoball, Nisei Linesman.
Nisei Linesman (Warcraft 3 Banjoball)
Originally, Tackle had the ability to pass through players. However, this led to much pass-abuse as a dominant strategy was to pass the ball into a player and tackle through them, regaining the ball in the process. As such, it was nerfed and the caster now bumps into players they encounter.

The Bloodseeker was originally in the Dota Strikers Alpha versions but was removed due to technical issues. He was added back in version 0.1 of Dota Strikers after the mod had gone live.
