GK Invoker
In the right hands, Invoker can be a very powerful goalkeeper. Especially since Powerdash would allow him to instantaeneously switch directions in order to catch the ball before it reaches the goal.

In addition, Invoker can shoot his never-ending Powershot off walls for better angles in order to reach strikers, whilst getting past any defenders along the way.

The Invoker's skills are inspired by the Warcraft 3 Banjoball hero, Akari Ska as Ion Ink.
Akari Ska as Ion Ink (Warcraft 3 Banjoball)

Originally in Warcraft 3, Powershot did not last forever and was only a very long-ranged kick; however this was soon changed to the implementation that can be seen even in Dota 2.

Akari Ska as Ion Ink's only spell was Powershot, but when charging, everyone nearby was slowed down for duration of the charge to make sure the ball would not be easily stolen. Later on, in Dota Strikers, Invoker was given a sprint (Powersprint), but lost the AoE slow during charge. Powersprint was similar in functionality to Storm Spirit's Ball Lightning sprint and could only be used without the ball. The major differences is that while multiple casts of Ball Lightning increase momentum, Powersprint always completely killed momentum at the end of the sprint, and would not rebound off of walls.

Finally, in Dota 2 Banjoball, Invoker's Powersprint was removed in favor of a Powerdash secondary ability and replaced by a generic sprint.
