Notes:
  • There is no delay to casting Blink Backtrack, unlike Blink.
  • There is a small after-image which shows the return point of Blink Backtrack.

Defense
This involves QOP stealing the ball from the enemy using her blink. Since QOP's blink is fixed, she has to setup the situation in such a way that in she jumps right infront of the ball carrier for successful steals.
If blink-stealing is too hard or is being read too easily, one can use blink as a re-positioning tool instead, though this is not quite as effective.

Offense
Involves QOP blinking into a scoring position. Due to the speed of her re-positioning most GK's cannot easily react to catch the ball unless they were anticipating a blink-shot.

GK
One method, is to blink-steal before they can get within shooting range. This is slightly easier to read compared to the next method.
The second method requires low ping, and/or high risk/reward prediction. This method involves freeing up an area by tightly defending the closer side. Once the enemy shoots towards the free area, blink towards the free side to snatch up the ball before it enters.

Due to Dota 2 Queen of Pain's fitting skillset and particle effects, she was chosen as the hero to use for the Blink ability.
